Video Editing and DVD Production

Once studio work is completed, participants will be taught basic video editing skills. Some participants may choose to learn video editing in-depth as their “elective” training.

  • Understanding iMac computers
  • Learning graphic integration into background
  • Becoming proficient with editing software, Final Cut Studio Pro
  • Preparing final video for DVD production
  • Storing and indexing video for future use

Once video is ready for DVD production, all participants will learn how to:

  • Transfer video to master DVD
  • Burn DVDs on multi-bay machines
  • Print labels on DVDs
  • Place DVDs in appropriate jackets and cases
