In order for the Deaf to be successful, it is critical that they develop both business and community development skills.

Training will be given to all participants in:

1.     Planning programs and projects

  • Learning to determine outcome desired and then start from the first steps and plan each succeeding step until plans are complete.

2.     Budgeting

  • Learning to develop the true cost in terms of money, time, personnel, equipment and other resources needed to complete a plan.

3.     Organizing

  • Learning to organize people, facilities, supplies and other resources in a way that everyone and everything works together to achieve the goal.

4.     Managing

  • Learning how to lead, delegate, oversee, evaluate the people, the tools and the resources needed to achieve success.

5.     Evaluating

  • Learning how to set intermediate goals, evaluate impact, adjust based on observations and ultimately determine if the project or program is successful or not.
